This is a lovely little spot with an amazing view and you don’t need to be a goat to get there!

Please take care when you’re foraging around, you’re approx 2-3 meters from the cliff edge which runs along the coast The ground is stable, secure and well walked.

The first and only waypoint will take you directly to the final location where you can sit and admire the view while signing the log sheet. Final cache is a small camo container (large enough for coin / small swag exchange.

When placed it contained the geocoin: Destination Sweden, to Xrim (visit link)

This is an amazing Geocoin on it’s way for a race to Sweden!

(Please take care when replacing the coverings for the final as it’s a popular hang out for the local kids at night)

FIFO Swag Swap GC1HGQQ

Intro:

This is a special anniversary cache for us, we started Geocaching a year ago and have been hooked ever since. From the start we have loved the idea of swapping swag items and collecting interesting things from the caches we visit. When we picked up our first swag from Gecko’s Hobbit Home we decided we would keep all the swag we collect along the way; In the beginning we had no clue what to do with it all, they were just cool memories of each cache…

Cache idea: This cache is a combination of ideas from our previous caches, that and caches from others that we have enjoyed finding ourselves. If you have found our previous cache hides then you may find the hints helpful (hints are encoded at each waypoint). The final cache is a FULLY stocked ammo can; Full because it contains all of the swag we have collected over the year. There is also a Kiwi Pathtag as a FTF prize

Rules: To complete this cache you have to bring some swag of your own to swap, please no excuses or exceptions. You may only take the oldest swag item in the cache (however tempting the others may be :P ), this does not stop you coming back later when you think the swag item you want will be next! Instructions on how to log your swag swap are included in the final cache location:

PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW!

This is a special cache, When placed it contained all the swag items we have swapped in our first year of Geocaching. In order to say you have completed this cache and sign the log book, you MUST exchange some swag of your own.

No excuses!

RULES:

  • This is a FIFO (First In First Out) cache swap
  • FIFO means you MUST only take the item that has been in the cache the longest (First In)
  • To find which swag item you must take look at the swag list. Find the first entry that has not been crossed out, congratulations! This is your item.
  • Cross out the entry to show you have taken it.
  • Find the end of the swag list and write down what swag item you are leaving.

Example:

Orange smiley person peg
Wee puppy
Slide puzzle

Pink bunny head (knuckle bone)
Giraffe soft toy

In the swag list shown, you would take the slide puzzle and cross out that line.

FIFO cache ensures that all the items in the cache get moved on so no items get stuck in the cache forever.

Please remember to sign the logbook too! :)

It would be great if you could also take a photo of the swag you swapped in and out to upload in your online log.
Swag list when placed:

The cache is placed in a new subdivision in beachlands and covers the length of a newly created reserve, We hope you enjoy the challenge of this cache as much as we have enjoyed creating it. Our thanks to all those that have inspired us with our cache locations and to those that have placed the amazing caches we have found and for bringing us to some equally amazing locations.
