A wonderful spot any time of the day or dusk (gates close at 10pm), tide in or out with plenty to occupy your time and attention as the beach is often occupied by kite-surfers, dog walkers, picnic lovers, sea saltys and land lovers alike so some stealth (or picking your time) will be required.
(do not remove entire container, please remove base from top. Log sheet fits in lid)

Located mid way down a no exit street this little Treasure is only slightly off the beaten Trail but the views and location certainly justify the detour.
You’ll find spectacular views guide you to the cache location so take a little time out from the hustle and bustle soak up at atmosphere and the scenery that’s along the way, you wont be disappointed.
If you are lucky you’ll be greeted by the friendly and very curious bovine as you reach ground zero but please be very aware that the road is under active video surveillance which means care and consideration for the neighbours (both 2 and 4 legged) is required at all times.

Please do not attempt this cache if muggles are abound, if in doubt walk away!
An amazing little area along the coast line that is zoned as part of the proposed Omana Reserve which will close off road access so enjoy the location as it exists now.
This is a fantastic little area that serves as a perfect picnic location (lovely big trees for shade, dividing gardens for privacy, safe beach for swimming / paddling, toilet an bore water facilities) and it has a great playground that will amuse the young and those of us who are young at heart… in fact if you find yourself waiting out a muggle infestation take a swing, a stroll or a paddle while enjoy the picture postcard view across to Waiheke Island.
This location is incredibly popular on lovely summer days and balmy nights so EXTREME stealth is required as the cache is in plain view (you’ll know what we mean when you find it).
Please be considerate when you attempt this audacious cache so that it remains in place for all to enjoy. Access to area is restricted at night with Gates closed from 7pm – 7am and 9pm – 7am daylight savings.
